Ingredients
2 Roasted Seaweed Sheets
Sesame Seeds (optional)
Cooked white sushi rice
Preparation
Prepare sushi rice ahead of time. Optional: Once cooked, mix in sesame seeds.
Fold seaweed sheet in half along the long side, and tear roasted seaweed sheet along the fold line.
Heat Veggie Cakes according to microwave instructions.
In an onigiri rice mold, add a layer of rice, 1 veggie cake, followed by more rice. Shake in rice mold.
Place the rice ball on the nori sheet, positioning the folded or cut edge at the bottom of the triangle shape (if making a triangular onigiri). Fold the sides of the nori over the rice, and secure them with a little bit of rice if needed.
